PLEASE NOTE: This archive will always be a work in progress as the owner, Joseph W, will be continuing to update the information on it. Please be sure to check back often for any changes. Updates to this site will be done every 3-4 days as it takes a lot of time to set up the old sheets to look like they are suppose to, until I have all the sheets I have on file, are done as. Thanks.
My name is Joseph W. I have been a VSA (Virtual Station Agent) with the Chehalis cam since November 16, 2020. Like you, I enjoy watching the cam. I don't get out as much as I want to be able to for going trackside and watch trains so the best I can do is watch the cam.
I came up with the idea of this archive a while ago, but forgot about it until April 25, 2023. I started this project so others can see how the Chehalis OS "On sheet" trainsheet has evolved over the years since the cam sponsor Robert W. Scott came up with the idea from a video he saw on YouTube in 2020 on how they did things back in the old days. It has as many of the old sheets as I was able to get to include in this archive.
It has taken me LOT of hard work to put this together for you to be able to see the progress of the trainsheet. This will also give you the chance to see all the different trains that have passed the cam since the trainsheet has started. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I have putting it together for you.
Also, A special Thanks to OfficialETandM for helping me get this site started since I know nothing about using Google Sites to create a website and his opinions on the look of it, along with a few of my fellow Chehalis VSA's for also helping me with using a "Viewers Only" opinion on it.
AND the biggest Thanks goes to Robert W Scott for supporting me on doing this BIG project during the month it took to get this done.
And, finally, to close, I would like to mention that the 3 colors used for the background and words on each page, are as close to the original colors used by The Great Northern Railway. I got this color info from the Great Northern railway Historical Society website which can be found here.
